Tech for Retail Awards 2025: AIs and Innovations that will Transform Retail

28/11/25

The Tech for Retail exhibition, which took place on November 24 and 25, 2025 at the Porte de Versailles, awarded its Awards to four start-ups whose technological innovations in real time AI, prediction, generative 3D or home services, provide a concrete overview of the next wave of retail transformation.

These companies promise to redefine the customer experience and optimize business operations for years to come.

Context: A Major Exhibition for Retail Innovation

Tech for Retail brings together retailers, digital experts, start-ups and large groups to explore the changes in retail, from physical stores to e-commerce. For this 2025 edition, more than 415 exhibitors and 13,000 visitors gathered at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.

The event also hosts the Startup Village, which highlights more than 90 emerging companies presenting concrete use cases and demonstrating how technology is transforming retail. The Gen AI Award, the new award this year, was sponsored by Franck Le Moal, Group IT Director at LVMH, confirming the strategic importance of generative AI in the sector.

The 4 winning start-ups and their innovations

1. Albatross : Innovation Award: Real-Time AI at the Service of Retail

Albatross received the Startup Award for its innovations in real-time AI. This solution is transforming the way retailers analyze and interact with their customers in-store and online.

One of the great strengths of Albatross lies in its ability to process data in real time, offering unprecedented reactivity to adapt the commercial offer to the instantaneous behavior of consumers.

2. Neuralk : Startup Award: Prediction Based on Business Data

Neuralk is a prediction tool for data scientists designed to help businesses unlock the full potential of their product, customer, and transaction data. It is based on a foundation model, a large-scale AI trained on a vast amount of data specialized in data processing and structuring.

This proprietary technology is particularly suited to the luxury sector, where data volumes are often low. AI teams from groups such as LVMH, L'Oréal or Chanel ask Neuralk for specific topics such as forecasting sales, stocks, repurchases or the performance of new products with no history since they come from new collections.

The commercial impact is significant: Neuralk makes it possible to unlock new use cases and drastically improve the return on investment (ROI) of data initiatives.

3. Power.xyz : Gen AI Award: Generative 3D for the Immersive Visual Experience

Created three years ago, founded in Angers and installed within the Station F incubator, Power.xyz is a 3D asset platform dedicated to visual commerce and the creation of unlimited content, entirely powered by generative AI.

The platform is based on three complementary modules: a succession of simplified steps (workflow) that makes it possible to produce and generate a 3D catalog on a large scale; the creation of immersive experiences such as a 3D viewer, interactive configurators or augmented reality; and a virtual studio that instantly generates packshots, videos or lifestyle visuals.

For brands, this means the ability to visually transform their offering, to produce rich and interactive content, and to significantly strengthen the digital customer experience.

4. Dealt : Customer Experience Award: Home Services and Customer Loyalty

Dealt offers retail and e-commerce retailers a complete platform for deploying home service offerings — delivery, installation, assembly, maintenance and repair through its Dealt Home Services offer. The company also markets Dealt Care, a range of product insurance products including breakage, breakdown, extended warranty or even household warranty covering several pieces of equipment in the same home.

In addition to selling products, retailers can offer these services that increase loyalty, differentiation and added value. As proof of its commercial potential, the French company Dealt raised six million euros in June 2024, as part of a first series of financing aimed at accelerating its development.

The Strategic Importance of These Innovations

The fashion and retail sector is going through an unprecedented transformation: the rise of generative AI, digitalization of points of sale, increased expectations in terms of sustainability, new omnichannel uses. The four winners embody precisely this change.

These start-ups demonstrate that tomorrow's solutions do not only come from technological giants, but also from agile and innovative companies. As Mike Hadjadj, founder of La Retail Tech and host of this event, points out: “Today, we have to go very fast. The juries do not automatically select big solutions because, often, small structures meet specific needs.”

Future Perspectives

These four start-ups are positioned at the border of three major retail trends:

  1. AI and Agenticity : Intelligent automation of business processes
  2. Immersive Personalization : 3D experiences and interactive configurators
  3. Complementary Services : Added value beyond the product

For retailers and e-retailers, joining forces with these innovations is becoming crucial to maintaining their competitiveness in the face of increasingly tech-savvy global competition.

Conclusion

Tech for Retail is positioned as the reference exhibition in Europe for the revolution in commerce through technology.

The four start-ups that won the 2025 Tech for Retail Awards: Albatross, Neuralk, Power.xyz and Dealt are a perfect example of how generative AI, data prediction, immersive 3D content, and innovative services are redesigning the future of retail. For retail professionals, understanding and integrating these technologies is no longer an option, but a strategic necessity.
